Call for Proposals: SARSEA Project Now Open!

We are pleased to share that the SARSEA Project Call for Proposals has officially launched today, offering a total budget of EUR 1.6 million to support impactful initiatives addressing Sargassum challenges across the Caribbean region.

This is a fantastic opportunity for researchers to strengthen regional understanding and contribute to evidence-based solutions.

We warmly invite the community—innovators, practitioners, researchers, and organisations across the Caribbean and beyond—to explore the call and share widely within your networks. Your engagement is essential to advancing sustainable and science-informed responses to Sargassum challenges.

This call is structured around two complementary lots aimed at boosting innovation, research, and community resilience.
