The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI) and UWI’s Centre for Resource Management and Environmental Studies (CERMES) are very pleased to convene the third meeting of the “Regional Sargassum Action Learning Network” on July 26, 2022 at 10:00am-12:00pm AST/UTC-4.

As you know, the network aims to bring together academic and research institutes, government agencies, industry and private sector entities, civil society organisations and technical assistance agencies for shared learning, partnership building and developing solutions to improve management and adaptation to sargassum influxes in the Eastern Caribbean region. It is currently supported under the regional project, “Adapting to a new reality: Managing responses to influxes of sargassum seaweed in the Eastern Caribbean as ecosystem hazards and opportunities (SargAdapt)”.
